Hope. It's a beautiful thing. Closing in on almost a year of a pandemic that has shook us all, I believe January 2021 has given us hope. Not that all will be as it was, because so much has changed and we are not at the end yet. The world will exist soon as "the after" to how it was "before" and what is yet to be seen is the residual of all we have endured. But there is hope.

There are SO many things WAY bigger and more important than a closet. I get that, believe me. What is nice though, is the small part of the world that can be controlled, that helps the day move a little smoother regardless of the tasks that lie ahead. When we are intentional about the small things, the big things fall into place.

As we close out this month, I reflect on the goals/intentions I set and the progress made. What progress did you make? What intention did you follow through with? Here's how I'm looking from my small corner of the universe.

Goal #1 Seasonally wear or toss everything in my closet. Below are some of my favorite outfits of the month for the "wear to work" style. I mixed it up with some things I had bought recently with others that I have had for over 10 years!

Goal #2 Intentional Purchasing of only 33 items or staple replacements.

I needed and bought NOTHING!!! For a whole month. Huge win, huge. This forced me not only to appreciate what was available and get creative, but also reflect on items I might need when the purchase time comes.

Goal #3 Share this with you.

If your listening. Great. What intentions did you set forth? Do you have a favorite outfit from above? Maybe you remembered a similar item you have that you haven't worn in a while . . . take it out, rock it! Is there a staple item in the image you love and need help finding? Stay with me on this journey to simplistic beauty, clean closets and uncluttered minds. I'm so excited to have you come along.
